Christopher Okoye Jr isn’t your typical NFL player. Chris didn’t even start playing football until he reached high school. He didn’t even start on his high-school freshman football team because he was too busy “focusing on his lacrosse career .. ” But luckily he quit lacrosse (actually got cut) and received a scholarship to play football at Ferris State University where he majored in Political Science and Criminal Justice. While attending Ferris State, Christopher was a captain and received numerous awards such as First team all conference, All American and numerous academic awards. After finishing career he later went on to to play for the Cincinnati Bengals, Los Angeles Chargers, New Orleans Breakers & Pittsburgh Maulers. Although many know him for his football career, Christopher is also the Vice President at iCare Home Healthcare and is a thought leader that has spoken to numerous businesses, churches, colleges and high schools.
